It is ideal to come with a bare face, but If you have to wear make up (coming from work etc) you can still have your treatment. Your skin will be cleansed at every appointment, but if you wear a heavy mascara or waterproof mascara, some may be left behind. We cannot spend the entire time removing mascara.
24 hours after treatment. We highly encourage you to clean all make up brushes or sponges the night of your treatment to prevent spreading bacteria on your deeply cleansed skin.
You can work out 24 hours after your facial.
We use specific products to help prevent break-outs and cure them, but there is always a chance your skin can go through a purging process. This will go away within 2-3 days after your facial as long as you do not pick! This is normal and will not continue to happen once you get on a regular treatment routine.
Being proactive with regular facials can be one of the best ways to slow down the signs of aging, keep your skin clear, healthy and nourished. It is typically recommended to have a facial every 4-6 weeks depending on your skin concerns, condition, goals, and what you are doing for your skin at home.
We suggest bride to be’s book their consultation 3-6 months before their big day. This will allow proper time to allow your skin to adjust and see optimal results from your treatments and at home products. If you are getting started late, dermaplaning, illuminating, HydraFacials, and Oxygen dome facials are perfect 3-4 days before your big event.
Facials are generally very relaxing and soothing. Your esthetician will explain to you what the treatment steps will be. Be sure to communicate with your esthetician during the facial if any product burns, itches, or if you need anything or have any questions. Otherwise, just lie back and enjoy the experience.
